What kind of texts will I get?

You’ll receive short, upbeat messages tailored to the days leading up to your race and race morning itself. Think supportive friend energy, not generic quotes or spammy promos. Messages might include light reminders, pep talks, and playful nudges to help you feel confident and calm.

How often will you text me?

For a single race, you can expect a handful of texts in the week before your event plus a few on race day itself. We keep it intentional so our messages feel exciting, not overwhelming.

Can I opt out at any time?

Absolutely. Just respond stop at any time to opt-out. If your plans change, or you just want a quieter phone, you’re always in control.

Is this just for serious runners?

Not at all. Race Day Opt-In is built for first-timers, walkers, fun-run crews, back-of-the-pack legends, and everyone in between. If you’re showing up to a race in any capacity, you belong here.

Will you share my phone number?

No. We only use your number to send the motivational texts you sign up for. We do not sell or share your phone number with other companies.

Do I need to be a Paper Lantern Social Club member to participate?

To recieve pre-race texts for the Bodies Race Co. events we participate in, membership with Paper Lantern is required. However, if you want texts during the race, just stop by our table and opt-in!

Is this available for all races?

Paper Lantern Social Club is partnering with Bodies Race Co. to provide runners with the opportunity to make new friends by offering at-race meet-ups. The race day motivational texts are available for the races where Paper Lantern Social Club is hosting live meet-ups.
